Sue Irvin is a South Coast contemporary artist who resides in Kiama. Seven Mile Beach and surrounds inspire her artmaking in a variety of media.

Atmospheric changes, environmental concerns, the analogy of bridges and the use of the area as refuge inform her images. Previously a Visual Arts teacher,Sue has just completed an Artist-in-residency at Sydney Olympic Park. This represents the culmination of three years of retraining at TAFE. Sue's understanding of academic and practical aspects of artmaking are diverse.
