This is a wonderful anthology of stories, about the childhood and adolescence of characters from the legend of King Arthur. Fourteen of Australia’s best writers of fantasy for children (including yours truly!) have imagined what it’s like to be a child of destiny!
The book also has an introduction, by Sophie Masson, and a good reading list at the back. The stories are fabulously diverse, and are set in different periods: some in the 5th/6th century, some in the high Middle Ages, some in a timeless period, some in modern times!
