The Maharajah's Ghost This book, the fourth in the Chronicles of El Jisal, is a comic fantasy adventure set in the country of Alhind. Anusha and Maya Penny are the twin daughters of the widowed Padma Penny, who runs a small ghost-hunting agency in the town of Kalpana, an agency that their late father had founded. The agency hasn't been doing very well, especially since the opening of a rival ghost-hunting agency, Two Stars, run by the two glamorous film stars, Sonny Khan and Sweetie Suseela.

Anusha and Maya and their friends Annie and Farah decide something must be done to save Penny's Ghost-Hunters. And so they embark on a campaign which will bring surprising results—and the wealthy Maharajah of Jadudesh to their door! But there's danger lurking, terrible danger, and when the twins and their mother go to the Maharajah's palace to begin hunting the ghost that has plagued his household, all sorts of weird and frightening things begin to happen!
