GENERAL HINTS.

It is recommended that you dress fairly conservatively for an interview. Don't wear badges or an excessive amount of jewelry.

Take particular care of your grooming. Is your hair clean and neat? Brush it back off your face so the person conducting the interview can see you. Make sure your finger nails are clean.

Select clothing that conforms in colour and style. Don't wear your football socks with a suit. Seek opinions from your parents or family as to how you look.

Boys applying for office, professional or white collar jobs should wear suits, or a neat jacket and suitable trousers, even if the weather is hot.

The suit you wear should be conservative and businesslike, quite regardless of the rank or position you are applying for. Whether the job be that of office boy or general manager, you will not go wrong if you exercise conservative tastes. Although if you are after a job that requires creativity an employer may look to your choose of clothes quite differently.

Girls should wear trim dresses in cool, crisp fabrics, clothes that are not too fussy and don't crush.

Keep in mind the nature of the job you are applying for, and wear something appropriate. Try not to be too casual or too formal.
